Job Description

Worley are recruiting for a Logistics Administrator to join our busy team in Aberdeen City Centre.

Work as a Warehouse Logistics Administrator. Carry out Goods in /Goods out administrative activities including outgoing quality control whilst complying with Worley & Client Values and Legislative requirements.

Key Aims / Objectives:

The aim is to ensure that documentation is available as required, ensuring effective communication throughout the SES various departments and that quality of service expected by SES in maintained

Primary Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Demonstrate commitment to safety through language, behaviour and actions.
  • Demonstrate recognition and responsibility for the safety of colleagues and others on site.
  • Liaise with Hire Desk with regards to delivery paperwork, certification, and supporting documentation
  • Input off hires into the MCS system
  • Liaise with customs agents with imports and exports paperwork
  • Report overages and shortages to clients
  • Forwarding goods received / delivery notes to commercial department for purchased goods received
  • Co-ordinate damage and/or loss reports, as required and ensure commercial department have the required information to invoice charges in a timely manner
  • Assist the business with invoice queries
  • Arrange transportation for goods in and out of the depot
  • Update the MCS system with certification expiry dates
  • Update the MCS system with correct equipment status
  • Maintain depot stock check records and assist with stock checks
  • Assist with the update of records in the quality system
  • Assist local management with administration and distribution of SHEQ information
  • Carry out relief driving duties during peak times, providing holiday & sickness cover
  • Perform stores duties as required, including but not limited to; receiving and checking of purchased goods, checking paperwork against hire equipment & goods outward inspections
  • Able to work under minimal supervision
  • Ensuring that all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with company safety plans and approved processes and in accordance with SES procedure's.
  • Attend the daily 10 minutes safety brief
  • Any other reasonable duties requested by management.
  • Promote and encourage team safety in Tool Box Talks & Risk Assessments

Occasional Duties:

  • Assist in Stock control and audits
  • Assist in client demonstration's and investigations
  • Assist with store duties parts and spares
  • Attend and participate positively in toolbox talks, training sessions
  • Contribute to accident/incident investigations where appropriate

Experience:

  • Previous logistics administration experience preferable
  • Display a positive "Can Do" Attitude
  • Have the ability to multi task and prioritise a busy work load
  • To demonstrate excellent customer service skills
  • To be flexible and work over time during peak periods
  • To be enthusiastic and motivated
  • To be able to work under pressure
  • IT Literate
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Good team worker
  • Capable of working under pressure
  • Ability to multi task and prioritise
