Job Description

WorleyParsons are currently looking for 2 Technical Assistants to join our Oil and Gas project delivery operation based in one of our client offices in Aberdeen for a duration of 6 months.

You will join the Business Administration function which provides office support services to the project and corporate teams. Business Administration roles are typically responsible for managing the project office and systems, including data entry, e-mail, filing, copying, scanning, mail processing and routing. Along with the organisation, production and monitoring of internal and external reports. Your skills and expertise will be utilised across a range of domestic and international projects, starting in the bid phase, continuing through to award, start up and execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Engineering Manager with data management and action trackers, including data input and production of reports
  • Document management services including filing, retrieval, revision updates, liaison with DCC
  • Co-ordinate vendor documentation and provide a single point of contact between discipline staff and DCC
  • Manage 'Package Engineering SDDM commentary requirements from other departments and disciplines
  • Generation and issue discipline requisitions using PAMMS software
  • Organise team meetings, including booking meeting rooms, issuing invitations, recording actions and following up
  • Proactive diary management for engineering team
  • Create and issue weekly/monthly reports
  • Arrange travel/accommodation
  • Set up and maintain IT filing system
  • Providing holiday cover for other administrators on the Contract/Project as required
  • Commitment to and promotion of WorleyParsons values and ensuring the realisation of company and project health, safety, environmental, quality and ethics, systems, policies and procedures

Role Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in similar role
  • Good understanding of office administration processes and practices
  • Advanced Microsoft Office
  • Input into project share point site and SAP
  • Ability to interface and interact with Management and Client Representatives at all levels
  • Experienced in the production of detailed documents/reports
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times
