Worley is currently looking to recruit an Estimator to join our team in Grimsby on our P66 Contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote Worley's values and ensure the realisation of company and project health, safety, environmental, quality and ethics, systems, policies and procedures
  • Ensure that all Customer/Company HSE goals are achieved and where possible exceeded.
  • Responsible for the Health and Safety of all personnel working on the site.
  • Ensure that Company and Site Procedures adhere too.
  • Management and support of all Worley personnel on-site.
  • Ensure that all personnel and Client Sub-contractors are fully aware of their obligations, responsibilities and facility safety procedures.
  • Maintain primary contact and a good working relationship with maintenance and operations personnel and sub-contractors site representatives who are engaged by the Client.
  • Responsible to provide proposals to Customer for new work ie Turnarounds and Project work.
  • Work with customer on a continuous improvement philosophy across the facility, delivering best practices at all times.
  • Responsible for the Management of Contract Change and ensure all variations are authorised/approved by the Worley nominated Operations Manager and the Client Operations/Project Manager.
  • Provide technical assistance to the Worley Operations Manager in the compilation of cost and progress reports where necessary
  • Deliver the contract(s) in line with the agreed work scope and requirements, and strive to grow existing contracts and gain new contracts in line with Worley Offerings

Role Requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge of the facility HSEQ safe working practices/procedures.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Facility Operations and Maintenance processes and procedures.
  • Ensure that all work within their area of responsibility is carried out with good safety practices and full adherence to site permit/process systems.
  • Verify that the procedures, risk assessments and operations specifications provide adequate instructions for the work and advise the Client Operations/Project Manager of any deficiencies or clarifications needed.
  • Ensure that all work is to the required standard and that all procedures, training modules, specifications, inspections and certifications are strictly adhered to.
  • Ensure that all Client systems of Quality Assurance are adhered to and assist the Client Operations/Project Manager in the completion of site system documentation and the records dossier.
  • Constantly strive to obtain maximum productivity and economical use of labour and equipment in order to keep costs to a minimum. While maintaining contract obligations.
  • Ensure that all items of material, equipment, PPE and services are available in support of the works to avoid abortive and unproductive use of labour.
  • Ensure adequate and qualified supervision and skilled labour resources remain competent to meet customer requirements.
  • Ensure that Company procurement systems for material, equipment, tooling and PPE are followed.
  • Co-ordinate and report continuously on all progress matters and problem areas.
  • Manage appraisals of all Worley personnel on site

Routine activities commitments:

  • Completion and submission of weekly payroll data.
  • Follow up on invoicing procedures to ensure continuous cash flow.
  • Clarify daily manning levels.
  • Preparing and monitoring training activities and competency levels.
  • Ensure regular TBT's are carried out.
  • Updating monthly Safety Dashboards, both Worley and Client.
  • Updating notice boards with Safety and Process data.
  • Holding regular Client Contract review meetings and presenting updated contract information or KPI's as appropriate.
  • Taking part in regular Client Business team operations and maintenance meetings.
  • Loading Worley Assurance system Leadership activities as required.
  • Producing monthly OPR review data with Worley Operations Manager.
  • Attending monthly Worley Management Meetings as required and giving required input.
  • Controlling all required manning levels and recruiting as and when required.
  • Ensure all personnel have appropriate PPE.
  • Attend the Contractor Management Group monthly meeting.
  • Attend Contract review meetings monthly
  • Attend weekly site meetings on all contracts on and off-site
