Job Description

Primat are currently recruiting for a Senior Project Controller for a staff role based in Teeside. Our client is one of the world's largest manufacturers of chemicals, fertilisers and plastics, with operations at Wilton and North Tees and their products are sold to markets ranging from plastic bags, medical devices and car bumpers, to synthetic rubber and anti-freeze.

A leading employer in the Teesside area, employing around 600 staff and an additional 400 contractors they recently signed a new lease, committing themselves to the region for a further 15 years.

Their plans to continue stable growth mean they have attractive career opportunities at their state-of-the-art manufacturing operations.

  • Train all relevant personnel in the use of the ABMS Modules appropriate to their role, via one-to-one desk visits or small group sessions.
  • Carry out a one off exercise to capture training for the current client personnel. Priorities for this are: 1 - All members of the planning team: 2 - Lead Engineers: 3 - Discipline Engineers & Construction Engineers.
  • Ensure that all new starts are added to the training matrix and trained on the appropriate ABMS Modules within 5 days of starting with WorleyParsons.
  • Carry out refresher training as required for already trained personnel in a structured manner.
  • Contribute as necessary to Corporate Development of the ABMS in order to enhance the overall performance of the Company.
  • Contribute as necessary to general Project Controls objectives and co-operate as required with the other Project Controls disciplines.
  • Ensure with assistance from the projects that the appropriate members of the Client Teams are giving the appropriate ABMS awareness training
