Job Description

Primat recruitment is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join a large international team in Stockton-On-Tees. Our client is expanding its minerals business internationally. The company provides engineering and construction services to the minerals industry, specifically focusing on continental & eastern Europe, Scandinavia, Africa and Russia.

This position is office based and is supporting the design of a project taking place in the North East. Design responsibilities are split between a location in Teesside and a location in India, so occasional travel may be required.

- Management of production of all necessary Electrical documentation.

- Ability to work to tight deadlines.

- Checking and approval of documentation as required.

- Attendance at client meetings and meetings at potential vendor premises.

- Effectively manage the EI&C project work scope.

- Initiate and maintain EI&C policy document and procedure, templates etc.

- Manage the electrical aspect of complex packages and complete the detailed design.

- Manage package vendors.

- Low voltage switchgear experience and approval of vendor schematics.

- Completing equipment FAT's.

- UPS, L&SP, Emergency generator package management experience.

Essential:

- A degree in Electrical engineering or relevant subject; and advanced or supplementary degree would be an asset; ideally Chartered Engineer status.

- Must be capable of delivering project scope of work safely, against programme, within budget and required quality.

- Team leadership capability.

- Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills essential.

Desirable:

- Knowledge of SmartPlant Electrical packages and 3D Model Execution would be an advantage.

- Knowledge of EPC Execution would be an advantage
