Job Description

Worley are looking for a SAP Support Assistant to join our Oil and Gas project delivery option based in Aberdeen on a contract basis for 12 months.

Key Objective:

You will join our customer's asset team, working under the supervision of customer's Asset SAP Analyst providing SAP assistance to their engineering and operations personnel, principally in the areas of requisitioning, materials and work orders.

Primary duties:

Assist in the maintenance / update of the customer's SAP system in accordance with appropriate procedures and provide SAP support to asset team with specific reporting or tasks, including:

  • Raise requisitions (PRs) in SAP for engineers within the asset team
  • Coordinate requisition (PR) approvals in SAP
  • Liaise with customer's cost team to expedite PR to purchase order (PO) conversion and timely issue of PO documents to vendors
  • Raise material PRs in SAP for engineers within the Engineering department
  • Coordinate material PR approvals and liaise with the buyer to expedite PR to PO conversion.
  • Assist engineers with material master searching and creation in SAP.
  • Expedite new material requests (NMRs) by liaising with customer logistics team
  • Ensure hold flags for materials are removed in SAP prior to shipping
  • Learn and champion the customer's Procurement Workflow (PWF) tool and assist engineers with approvals and releases.
  • Commitment to and promotion of Worley values and ensuring compliance with company and customer HSE, quality and ethics systems, policies and procedures

Essential qualifications / experience:

  • Some previous working experience of SAP systems
  • Good administrative skills

Desirable qualifications / experience:

  • Previous experience in a busy operational team advantageous
  • Capable of supporting a range of personnel, problem solving and demonstrating self-management
  • Working knowledge of SAP Procurement Management and/or Maintenance Management modules desirable but not essential
