Job Description

WorleyParsons is looking for a Reward Coordinator to join our Oil and Gas project delivery operation based in Aberdeen City Centre. This is a permanent role, and full-time or part-time working hours will be considered.

Role Expectations

  • To support the business in the effective delivery of Reward activities, ensuring adherence to procedures and best practice processes at all times.

  • The Reward Coordinator will develop and maintain a strong relationship and network with the People and other business functions in order that decisions and activities are based on sound business awareness and add value to the business.

  • The Reward Coordinator will have an appreciation for the role of the Reward Manager and also the wider People Function including HR Coordinator, Advisor, Business Partner and People Manager in order to aid role delivery.

Key Aims and Objectives

The Reward Coordinator will be required to provide a comprehensive and professional customer-focused service in support of the Reward Manager and People Function. In line with best practice and established processes and procedures, they be responsible for coordinating and analysing all compensation and benefits information to ensure that effective decisions can be made around all aspects of employee reward, ensuring the delivery of the Reward strategy in line with Business Objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Reward Manager to deliver on time, in budget, accurate annual compensation processes. Working with the People team, ensure the accuracy of all data required for the processes and competence of the People teams and wider business on the online systems utilized, and provide guidance and support to line and functional mangers throughout the process.
  • Working with the Reward Manager, prepare and submit of all salary survey submissions. Attending salary survey networking meetings as required, ensure that jobs are benchmarked appropriately in order to provide accurate survey results. Support in subsequent analysis to understand WorleyParsons position in the market to inform the reward strategy for the business.
  • Collating salary survey and other data, support in analysing all data required for the ongoing review and maintenance of the staff salary bandings and contractor rate bands, ensuring WorleyParsons remain market competitive.
  • Execute Recognition Award process on a monthly basis; through ongoing liaison with award supplier, ensure awards are promptly delivered and effectively communicated to ensure maximum impact.
  • Engage with HR and Payroll teams to maintain Benefit in Kind entries for Company provided benefits. Responsible for ensure that data is up-to-date and accurate ahead of any renewal requirements.
  • Working with the People Team, coordinate all data and employee information required for annual insurance renewals
  • Through comprehensive knowledge of the reward packages, processes and procedures, provide accurate advice to employees and management on all aspects of Reward, seeking support from the wider People Team as required.
  • Demonstrate and promote the principles of WorleyParsons' integrity management framework 'OneWay', that consists of simple expectations that align our entire business on a path towards zero harm. Lead safety principles within the business, particularly within the HR function and challenge unsafe activities both onshore and offshore.

Role Requirements

Qualifications/Training

Essential:

  • Higher or equivalent in English
  • Higher or equivalent in Mathematics
  • ECDL or Equivalent advamced Microsoft Office Skills, specifically Excel

Desirable:

  • Certificate in Personal Practice
  • CIPD associate or member
  • Ideally, Graduate in a relevant discipline

Experience

Essential:

  • Significant experience and technical ability in Excel
  • Proven extensive administrative experience
  • Demonstrable experience in analysing data and completing reports
  • Experience in working in a fast paced environment

Desirable:

  • Experience in analysing and contextualising raw data to draw relevant conclusions and support recommendations
  • Previous Compensation & Benefits experience would be advantageous

Person Qualities

  • Demonstrated analytical ability
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle large amounts of confidential information and detail in an organised, efficient manner even when under pressure.
  • Able to work autonomously and actively seek out areas for development and improvement within the business and prioritise workload accordingly.
  • Approachable, team player with good problem solving skills
  • Good presence and able to build credibility
