Worley Wind is currently looking for an experienced and dynamic Asset Management Project Manager to join our business on a permanent basis.

Your role will be responsible for managing the processes essential to delivering multi-discipline design work associated with Asset Management projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Act as a focal point for Asset Management both internally and externally
  • Coordinate projects between project teams
  • Represent Offshore Renewables to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Attendance at client progress meetings
  • Monitoring internal costs and budgets
  • Resolving conflicts or issues
  • Developing and following project procedures
  • Leading lessons learnt and continuous improvement
  • Manage value engineering and risk evaluation
  • Prepare the project execution plan and procedures
  • Prepare overall project delivery schedule
  • Prepare and agree on project control procedures during the design and construction phases
  • Managing progress, contract and change management, cost control, quality management, HSE, QA/QC procedures.
  • Chair project team meetings with third parties
  • Prepare and submit progress reports
  • Manage all stakeholders responsible for the delivery of the project and provide relevant guidance and advise to the Client in terms of project strategy and decision making.
  • Ensure detailed records and contract documents are fully maintained and retained for third party review

Role requirements:

Suitable candidates will possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • A good engineering degree (honours or equivalent) in civil, mechanical, structural, naval architecture or similar.
  • Chartered Member of an appropriate professional institute
  • Delivery of projects in the offshore industry
  • Extensive experience in a similar capacity with the industry
  • Extensive project management experience with evidence of managing a portfolio of works
  • Substantial single-discipline engineering experience
  • Experience in building and managing a number of project teams at any given time
  • Advanced negotiation skills
  • Commercial awareness
  • Coaching, mentoring and delegation skills
  • Presentation skills
  • Articulate with excellent communication skills
  • Confident and approachable
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Collaborative
  • Constantly seeks improvement

In addition, it would be desirable to have:

  • Experience of supervising and developing junior engineers
  • Experience of working on large and/or multidiscipline projects/bids
