Job Description

WorleyParsons is currently recruiting for a Project Controls Engineer based in Aberdeen City Centre on a contract basis for 6 months. The candidate will be required to primarily support Corporate Project controls in all aspects of project delivery assurance, act as focal point for appropriate system initiatives maintaining Procedural governance as well as taking responsibility for formal appropriate bid responses

Role Responsibilities

  • Train all relevant personnel in the use of the ABMS Modules appropriate to their role, via one-to-one desk visits or small group sessions.
  • Create and maintain a training plan / matrix in Primavera P6 and/or Excel for all personnel with access to the WorleyParsons Brownfield Management Suite
  • Carry out a one off exercise to capture training for the current WorleyParsons personnel. Priorities for this are: 1 - All members of the planning team: 2 - Lead Engineers: 3 - Discipline Engineers & Construction Engineers.
  • Ensure that all new starts are added to the training matrix and trained on the appropriate ABMS Modules within 5 days of starting with WorleyParsons.
  • Carry out refresher training as required for already trained personnel in a structured manner.
  • Contribute as necessary to Corporate Development of the ABMS in order to enhance the overall performance of the Company.
  • Contribute as necessary to general Project Controls objectives and co-operate as required with the other Project Controls disciplines.
  • Ensure with assistance from the projects that the appropriate memebers of the Client Teams are giving the appropriate ABMS awareness training
