Job Description

The role

An opportunity has arisen for a new Procurement Administrator to work in a relatively new Procurement & Supply Chain Management Consultancy. Reporting to the Director this is an exciting opportunity to join a new business and provide a first class administrative support services across the company's expanding client base.

Location

This position would be working out of the office in Aycliffe.

Key Tasks

  • Daily order processing from Requisition through to issue of Clients Purchase Orders.
  • Tracking of all requests via the Procurement process (P2P).
  • Sourcing of supplier and Subcontractor quotations where required and compilation of analysis.
  • Assisting in the preparation and bid evaluation of Tender Enquiries relating to the client's requirements.
  • Assistance in the Performance Management Process for the Supply Chain
  • Compilation of monthly reports for senior managers
  • Production of monthly Purchase Order tracking reports for multiple clients.
  • All other administrative duties required to assist the Procurement/Supply Chain Function of the company.

In addition to the above you will be accountable for

Dealing with any queries either from delegate clients.

Assisting in the smooth running of a very busy office.

Keep and maintain an accurate Electronic Filing, daily administration and Archiving.

Skills / Knowledge / Experience

The successful candidate will have some working knowledge of Microsoft applications Excel, Word, Email & PowerPoint and some previous knowledge and experience within procurement and or supply chain environment would be an advantage. But not essential, providing the candidate can demonstrate solid administrative skills. Procurement training (internal) will be provided.

Verbal and written communication skills are an essential part of this role as you will be dealing with a variety of people across various businesses.
