Job Description

Worley is looking for a Plant & Equipment Coordinator to join the Clair Ridge HUC project based in Aberdeen for a duration of 5 months.

Primary Duties:

  • Responsible for all project Plant & Equipment (P&E) supply & rental activities to support execution of project schedules.
  • This shall include ensuring databases are updated; P&E are receipted and issued in accordance with Company & Project policies, procedures and in compliance with all HSSE and any legislative requirements.
  • This shall ensure that provided P&E is provided in accordance with agreement rate(s) and that associated repairs, "write-offs" and commercial reconciliation is controlled in a transparent manner in support of Contract Engineering.
  • Co-ordination of Service Providers, Warehouse and Shipping and Logistics activities.
  • Inventory management and reconciliation.
  • Expediting of all requirements in line with requested required-on-site date(s)
  • Commitment to and promotion of Worley values and ensuring the realisation of Company and Project health, safety environment, quality and ethics, systems, policies and procedures.
  • Process all received Plant & Equipment requests to ensure timely and compliant delivery of identified demand;
  • Determine whether identified P&E demand shall be managed via appointed service provider (SES), BP owned P&E or via specialist BP P&E supplier;
  • Liaison with Vendor Management to ensure that specialist vendor equipment is captured, tracked, inspected, shipped and returned accordingly
  • Ensure Plant & Equipment (P&E) database is fully updated and maintained;
  • Expedite P&E service providers to ensure timely and compliant delivery
  • Maintain status report of status report of P&E that is to be provided;
  • Liaison with construction, commissioning, LOLER focal point and offshore personnel to ensure P&E availability in line with program requirements.
  • Co-ordination of third party inspection requirements for all P&E, i.e. PE001
  • Investigate and resolve and P&E shortfalls
  • Liaison with logistics personnel to ensure timely shipment of materials to relevant site(s);
  • Maintain and issue on-hire/over-hire and recertification reports, liaising with offshore teams to expedite timely return of P&E;
  • Ensure that P&E returns are both highlighted to P&E service provider(s) and that they are promptly off-hired;
  • Assess "repairs" to provided P&E and assist Commercial group in reconciling;
  • In conjunction with Offshore determine and agree those items that should be put forward for "write-off" and assist Commercial group in associated reconciliation and close out of same;
  • Assist Commercial group in verification of monthly invoices for P&E provision;
  • Promote Health, Safety, Security and Environment within project team.

Required qualifications/ certification:

  • SVQ / Standard Grade or equivalent
  • Materials Management Systems - IT Literate (Excel/Word etc) Desirable:
  • BOSIET (Offshore Survival)
  • Dangerous Goods by Land, Air and Sea Essential:
  • Good working knowledge of P&E, process controls, warehousing and logistics within the oil and gas industry.
  • Good knowledge of legislative requirements for onshore and offshore P&E management.
  • Proven ability to work to demanding project schedules.
  • Competent in maintaining and updating project reports accordingly.
  • Ability to identify oil and gas project materials and equipment.
  • Demonstrate good excel spreadsheet data manipulation skills.
  • Experienced in the control and management of Plant & Equipment (P&E), from identification of demand, supply through competent service providers, inspection and shipping of same, ongoing tracking and proactive reporting plus support to Commercial group in verification and reconciliation of same;

Desirable:

  • Good knowledge of materials management systems, e.g. PaMMS, SAP, MAXIMO, CONVERO, etc.
