Job Description

Primat Recruitment is seeking an experienced Piping Engineer to take up a senior role with our client based in Aberdeen. You will be working out of Aberdeen city centre supporting work on an FPSO in the North Sea. To fulfil this role, you will be experienced with FPSO's/Offshore work and demonstrate a knowledge of the completions process. Responsibilities:
Responsible for the delivery of Piping Design deliverables to safety, quality, cost and time parameters
Hosting/driving constructability reviews
Keep up to date with technical developments, National and International standards and legislative requirements related to the discipline scope.
Administer and implement company, and where applicable, client / project policies and procedures
Ensure the designs comply with relevant Codes, Standards, Regulations and Procedures.
Provide technical assistance to business development strategies and activities
Ensure, as far as practically possible, that all assigned work is carried out in compliance with the agreed budget and schedule
Prepare estimates and schedules and assist in the review.
Maintain planning and cost control on all scopes.
Identify scope and schedule changes accordance with the Change Control Process.
Approval, checking and preparing of design/engineering documentation

Skills & Experience:
Demonstrated experience in the Oil & Gas sector, specifically Offshore.
Experience of making full use of Navisworks
Experience in executing brownfield modifications
Knowledge of FPSO's
Relevant discipline orientated degree/qualifications
