Job Description

On behalf of our client, Primat is currently recruiting an experienced Permit to Work Coordinator to join our client's FPSO team for a period of 2 weeks, mobilising 28.08.2018. Our client is an offshore Oil & Gas operator and one of the largest FPSO companies in the world.

You will be responsible for the monitoring, control and supervision of the Permit to Work (PTW) system and for the administration of the PTW system and all associated certification.

 

A a Permit to Work Coordinator, your responsibilites will also include:

  • Participation in worksite inspections and PTW audits
  • Ensure gas meters are maintained and calibrated, and conduct Gas Tester training as required
  • Log keeping and document control
  • Carry out risk assessment exercises and direct maintenance teams in toolbox talks as appropriate
  • Assist HSE Advisor with maintaining competence registers for PTW related competencies and ensure these are adhered to. You will also be required to conduct PTW training as required

Skills:

  • High level of understanding of process, mechanical and electrical systems and how they integrate to form the process plant
  • Have knowledge of PFW System, ISSOW
  • Level 1 Gas Tester training and experience

Certificates:

  • Minimum of NVQ Level 3 or higher in Process or Trade equivalent
  • BOSIET
  • OGUK medical certificate
  • MIST
  • EBS with shoulder measure


Desirable:

  • NEBOSH General Certificate
