Duration: up to 4 months

Start Date: 1st April 2020

Worley is currently recruiting for a Material Controller for our Shell Projects for a duration of up to 4 months.

We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to join our offshore team on the Nelson Platform.

Key aims and objectives:

  • To manage the efficient flow of all Turnaround Materials, from requisition to installation
  • Support both On and Offshore teams
  • Liaise with AOB and Logistics with the control and safe management and release of materials through the Kitting and Staging process
  • Support: - Senior Material Coordinator and Turnaround Coordinator to coordinate the flow of equipment and materials in a timely manner prior and during turnaround in line with weeks of plan
  • Compliance of companies' Supply Chain procedures
  • Comply with all relevant client and Worley HS&E policies and procedures

Role Requirements:

  • To undertake the effective receipt, storage, movement and control of all materials to support the business
  • To liaise with Supply Chain, user groups, third parties and Supply Base and Marine contractors to ensure that all materials and equipment are marshalled and shipped in accordance with company procedures and internal controls
  • Run Material Tracking Report from SAP on the Floating Network
  • Manage Turnaround CM/PM Work orders in line with companies "MAKD Process" in line with weeks of IAP
  • Responsible for receiving all materials on company manifest and siting of materials into Asset Habitat/Worksite
  • Manage the safe return/reconciliation of backloaded materials/vendor post Turnaround - It is essential deviated work scope materials are identified, clearly articulated; re-input in SAP and managed correctly for future Turnarounds
  • Manage control and shipment of Scope owners third party Vendor materials and equipment in accordance with company Logistics - E-Packing & E-Cargo documentation once received offshore
  • Awareness and management of Dangerous Goods

All candidates should hold the following Qualifications & certification:

  • BOSIET/EBS
  • MIST
  • Approved Offshore Medical
  • Dangerous Goods by Air & Sea

Ideally, candidates will also have the following experience:

  • Proficient in SAP logistics and materials management systems
  • Varied and detailed work experience in the industry to allow understanding of and exposure to key material control and logistics concepts and principles
  • Demonstrate and maintain strong safety, integrity and reliability behaviours
  • Manage skill requirements to fulfil any additional tasks as requested by the Client
  • Able to apply theory in a practical context
  • Can communicate at all levels of the organisation
