Job Description

Key aims and objectives
*Commitment to MOUK Incident Free operations and actively promote within their team
*Initially based in Singapore at the EPC Contractor's shipyard on a residential basis or rotation basis to provide Operation's input in support of commissioning activities.
*Work with the Project Team to develop the interfaces between Maintenance, Operations, Construction and the HUC Team to deliver a smooth, Incident Free startup of Culzean production
*Transfer to an offshore rota to support HUC and operations

Prime responsibilities and duties
*Actively support a working environment based on respect for HSE
*Execute duties as specified in the emergency response procedures or by OIM
*Participate as a member of the Maintenance Supervisor's team in delivering Maersk Oil UK performance against agreed targets
*Build effective working relationships with other departments and shifts
*Ensure the Mechanical maintenance task is executed efficiently, liaising with other departments' and Supervisors to minimise equipment down time
*Safe and efficient operation of static and rotating mechanical equipment, including gas compression, and associated systems in accordance with the Company and statutory requirements
*Safeguarding the reliability, availability and operational condition of static and rotating mechanical equipment and systems
*Carry out isolations / de-isolations as required and perform preventive maintenance and repairs activities safely and efficiently on a wide range of mechanical, utilities and associated systems and equipment.
*Report underlying causes of failures identified and take appropriate action
*Ensure necessary and timely preparation for activities is undertaken, including the raising of relevant work permits and ensuring availability of all required materials, tooling and resources
*Highlight defects with procedures, equipment and tools
*Liaise with Projects team and vendors to maintain accurate and pertinent maintenance records and enter data into the appropriate information management systems
*Maintain adequate stocks of mechanical equipment and materials
*Comply with Company procedures and ensure handovers with all relevant information
*Encourage good, open communication
*Support the reviewing and development of specific procedures
*Work with the Project Team to develop the interfaces and relationships between Maintenance, Operations, Construction and the HUC Team to help deliver a smooth, Incident Free startup of Culzean production. Build effective working relationships with other departments and shifts
*Strict adherence to Control of Work procedures ensuring competent to deliver any Control of Work role within approved CoW process
*Perform preventive maintenance and repairs activities safely and efficiently
*Plan, prepare, execute and close out all Mechanical maintenance routines as defined in the Maintenance Management System
*Act as a single point of contact for vendors executing work on the facility, including the Preparation of Work Control Certificate's (Permits) and ICC's (Isolations)

Allied occasional duties
*Act as member of the emergency control team or fire team as appropriate. Responsibilities defined in the Emergency Response.
*Assist vendors/engineers and carry out pre-commissioning and commissioning checks
Decision making Authority and Accountability:
*In accordance with delegation of authority
*Responsible for the health, safety and welfare of production crew, and areas of environment pertaining to their position
Key internal interfaces - Offshore:
*Maintenance Supervisor, Mechanical Lead Tech, Ops Coordinator and other discipline leads
*Production Supervisor, Production Team
*Project HUC team
*Medic and OHS
Key internal interfaces - Onshore:
*Culzean Project Team
*EPC Contractor Detailed Design Team
*I&R Manager, Installation Support Team
Qualifications/Training - Essential:
*Technical apprenticeship or equivalent training scheme
*Related technical qualification, ideally HNC
*Appropriate NVQ/SVQ certification
*BOSIET/Approved Offshore Medical/MIST


Experience - Essential:
*Proven offshore maintenance experience and consistently good performance
*Experienced in the control and use of Safe Systems of Work (PTW) procedures

Experience - Desirable:
*Proven offshore maintenance experience

*Experienced in the control and use of Safe Systems of Work (PTW) procedures

Personal qualities, aptitudes and skills
*Proficient in the use of bolt tensioning equipment
*Good written and verbal communication skills

Competencies - Generic
*Ability to create positive relations to peers and stakeholders internally and externally.

Competencies - Technical

*Current MJI10 Training, (within 12 months) or current TMJI10

*Detailed knowledge of mechanical maintenance practices applicable to offshore oil and gas assets
*Competent to carry out planned mechanical maintenance in accordance with the requirements of the planned maintenance system
*Competent to conduct fault finding, installation, isolation and re-instatement on mechanical systems and equipment - both rotating and static
*Valid Abrasive wheels, Authorised Gas Tester level 1 and Flange bolting and Integrity preferred
