Job Description

Primat Recruitment are seeking a Lead Environmental Engineer to join a project based in the Berkshire area. The project is working on the design, construction and set-up of a petro-chemical plant overseas. This position is due to last for 12 months with high chance of extension.

As the Lead Environmental Engineer, you will have a wealth of experience within your discipline and have held lead roles in large projects before. It would also be advantageous to have experience on FEED execution, detail engineering, procurement and construction.

Candidate:

Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering or environment related fields

Minimum 15 years of experience in environmental engineering of large oil refining and petrochemical project. Specific experience in developing environmental systems in full compliance with the IFC performance standards for commercially financed large refining or petrochemical projects.

Good knowledge of Oman and World Bank's environmental regulations is must.

Well conversant with best available technology (BAT) practices and emission monitoring and control techniques.

Good experience in conducting environmental studies including ENVID, EIA, ESIA, water and air dispersion modelling etc.
