Job Description

Primat are seeking a Hire Coordinator to join the Aberdeen Office team on a permanent full time staff basis with one of our key clients.

The Hire Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Dealing with customers enquiries and quoting in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Answering phone calls and dealing with them in a polite and professional manner.
  • Liaising with customers, to ensure requirements are met.
  • Passing information to the workshop, ensuring correct equipment is supplied.
  • Arranging 3rd party materials / rentals for specific jobs as required
  • Raising supplier PO's specific to rentals.
  • Arranging 3rd party inspections of rental fleet and ensuring records are kept up to date.
  • Compiling certification packages.
  • Completing On-hire paperwork, and relevant charging.
  • Ensuring off-hires are accurate with any damages / missing items reported.
  • General administration duties.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate:

  • Communicates effectively with internal and external contacts in a professional manner.
  • Experience within a similar role.
  • Computer skills - InspHire, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage own workload.
  • Effectively to meet deadlines as is necessary.
  • Works effectively within a team or other work group as appropriate.
  • Ensure that all quality and operational procedures are followed.
  • Experience of working in a similar role.
  • Understanding of UK industry standards, associated with work scopes.
