Location: Offshore - Brae Field
Project: Marathon
Duration: Permanent

WorleyParsons are recruiting a E & I Foreman/Lead for a permanent contract on the Marathon Brae Field.

Purpose / Role

To supervise E&I related activities undertaken as part of the Brae Field construction teamwork scope to include delivery of MoC, general corrective and reactive work scopes.

Key Aims and Objectives

To be responsible for supervising and coordinating the day to day activities of a small multi-disciplined E&I team

Prime Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Become competent in clients Permit to Work System to act as Performing Authority
  • Become familiar with platform plant and systems
  • Interface with operations teams on aspects of intrusive E&I work in accordance with the clients procedures and systems
  • Competent use of all discipline related tools & systems
  • Monitor and review daily progress of work fronts and report details to Construction Team Leader
  • Manage & support vendors as required
  • Management of work pack, GOC certification, as-building and handover etc
  • Liaise as necessary with the onshore engineering or project delegate on matters relating to ongoing work scopes
  • Carry out surveys to support onshore engineering as required

All candidates must have the following qualifications & certification:

  • Recognised Electrical Apprenticeship (Older apprenticeships will be indentured and normally include a C&G qualification)
  • More recent apprenticeships or training routes can result in the following awards (not all) Technical qualification with applicable electrical background - City and Guilds / BTec/NC/ NVQ Level 3 in electrical installation / SJIB (Scotland) / JIB (England)
  • AM2 - Applicable for those in England who have achieved an Electrical Qualification through the adult entry site assessment route. Checks should be made to ensure AM2 has been achieved.
  • BOSIET/Approved Offshore Medical
  • COMPEX (Mandatory for this role)

Experience:

  • Must have a good understanding of all E&I discipline activities.
  • Must have a good understanding of the process of Risk Perception and Control of Work.
  • Must be aware of electrical authorisation and competency process for HV electrical systems
  • Fully Conversant with GOC certification and work pack handover procedures.
  • Recording test results and compiling adequate "As Built" drawings of any 'on site' changes
