Job Description

Primat Recruitment are recuiting for an Offshore Deck Operator / Scaffolder to join one of Aberdeen's leading energy facilities for an adhoc contract:

Mobilisation: 04/06/2020

Duration: 2 Weeks

Engagement: LTD / PAYE

Location: North Sea.

To carry out the role of a Deck Operator / Scaffolder you will execute helicopter handling operations and general deck duties while also maintaining pipework and structures on the assett.

  • Carry out helideck duties including refuelling of helicopters.
  • Carry out general deck duties e.g. cleaning, painting, sanding, materials handling.
  • Carry out banksman slinging and basic rigging duties including deck and supply boat loading/unloading.
  • Erect scaffolds (including over side) as required for maintenance and operations tasks.
  • Maintain all scaffold equipment in an operable state and maintain an accurate scaffold register.
  • Carry out weekly checks of all platform scaffolding and recertify for use.
  • Responsible for cleanliness and tidiness of assigned areas.
  • Provide service and assistance to other departments as required.
  • Adopting safe-working practices at all times and, where appropriate, in accordance with the Company's Operating Procedures.
  • Ensures that the work conditions and environment are maintained in a safe and healthy condition.
  • Acts responsibly and takes all necessary precautions to protect themselves, fellow workers and any other persons who may be affected by their activities from injury and preventable illness.
  • Ensures that any defects in working practices, machinery, tools, equipment, protective measures and protective clothing are immediately brought to the attention of management so that steps can be instigated to remedy the defect or take the equipment out of service until repaired or made safe.

  • HAD (Helideck Assistant) desired
  • Helicopter Refuelling desired
  • Banksman / Slinger and Rigger desired
  • BOSIET w/ EBS required
  • MIST required
  • Bi Deltoid shoulder measurement required
  • Freefall lifeboat coxswain desired
  • OGUK Medical required
