Job Description

Site based role. Supervising and managing de-veg operatives and sub contractors through the delivery of contracted works. Ensure works are conducted safely and in compliance with all health, safety & environmental legislation and best practices, and in accordance with all Railway Group, Network Rail and Stobart Rail Standards.

Develop positive relationships with all parties associated with the project at a Site level and ensure that it is delivered on time, within budget and to the agreed quality whilst ensuring that client expectations regarding quality, programme and budget are wherever possible exceeded.

The Site Supervisor will be acting as our on-site representative and will be expected to engage and manage sub-contractors and unexpected site visitors (Network Rail Technicians etc) in a professional manner.

  • Competent and signed off in COSS.
  • NPTC qualifications in chainsaw and tree felling activities.
  • IT skills including Word, Excel and other software packages as appropriate
  • SWL1
  • Site warden
  • POS Rep
  • ES
  • MC/CC
  • CAT Scan & Genny; PA1 PA6, SRL Environmental Training, EFAW+F, ICI, OLEC3, IOSH, SMSTS.
  • First Aid
  • Arboricultural Association 2-day Arboricultural knowledge course - if this is not held it will be supplied on award of contract.
