Our client provides the complete supply chain solution to the oil and gas sector on a global basis. Offering bespoke procurement solutions tailored to meet the needs of their clients, ensuring competitive pricing and delivery models to the end user.

Job Description

You will be responsible for the end to end management of the supply chain in the provision of equipment and materials provided by third party suppliers in the execution of projects. You will be working closely with our clients customers to mitigate any risks in the supply chain and maximise the opportunities to aid excellence in delivery, in terms of technical assurance, cost, schedule and delivery of the purchased supply. The disciplines covered include Purchasing, Expediting, Logistics, Materials Management and Supplier Quality Inspection.

Your skills and expertise will be utilised across a range of domestic and international projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Negotiate price and delivery for the procurement of materials and equipment, to meet client schedule.
  • Post order management including expediting through to delivery.
  • Commitment to and promotion of company values and ensuring the realisation of company and project health, safety, environmental, quality and ethics, systems, policies and procedures.
  • Management and distribution of expediting workload.

The Successful Applicant

  • Fluent in Dutch / German / Russian with a high level of professional proficiency.
  • Understanding of procurement processes.
  • Understanding of Terms and Conditions of purchase.
  • Experience of working in a team environment.
  • Ability to meet deadlines to achieve project schedule.
  • Proven experience in expediting delivery of packages, equipment and material items in line with contractual delivery dates.
  • Good understanding and adherence to expediting procedures.
  • Proven track record of building productive relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Demonstrate good organisational and co-ordination skills.
  • Competent in maintaining and updating project reports accurately.
