WorleyParsons are recruiting a Barge Operator on an ad-hoc basis to work on the GP3 FPSO

Duration: 2 x 3 week trips (potentially long-term)

Key aims and objectives:

  • Primary role of watch keeping in the CCR, ensuring that the station keeping and marine / process systems are operated in a safe and efficient manner
  • Commitment to company Incident Free operations and actively promote within the team
  • As CRO/Barge Operator Subject Matter Expert in the Operations Team, provide support and operational input for:
  • Detailed Design;
  • FAT attendance when and where required;
  • Support the development of company Operations Procedures and training scenarios
  • Support the development of the Company competency management system for the Marine Team
  • Work with the Project Team to develop the interfaces between Maintenance, Operations, Construction and the HUC Team to deliver a smooth and Incident Free start-up of production

Required certification:

  • STCW II/1 OOW Qualification
  • Tanker Endorsement (Oil)
  • BOSIET
  • OGUK Medical
  • MIST

Ideally, candidates will also have the following experience:

  • Oil Tanker / FSO/FPSO experience
  • Detailed knowledge of Topsides and Marine process systems, plant layout and controls, including their function and operation, as specified in Operating procedures, vendors' manuals and other relevant documentation
