My name is Jordan Rowson and I am Business Development Lead for Primat and responsible for looking after clients, recruitment and contractor management requirements.
I graduated from University in 2012 and then went to live in New York for a couple of years working at a Private Members Country Club in Westchester County. Upon returning to Aberdeen, I had a brief continuation of employment in hospitality before going into my first Business Development role in the Oil and Gas industry with a Service company. In 2014 I moved into the world of Oil and Gas recruitment working with some local agency servicing clients across the energy industry both in Aberdeen and Houston.
I joined the Primat Recruitment in January 2019 and I’m looking forward to having success in this role and looking back in a few years at what we have achieved at Primat.
The best thing about my job is working with clients and supporting them in their growth and with their challenges. Whether it is supporting with 1 ad-hoc piece of work to help them out during a busy period or working closely with a client as they plot growth, each client has unique challenges and it is great when we get good results as a result of being diligent and informed on our market place.
Day to day I’m motivated to continually be better than I was yesterday and work hard to ensure I’m well placed to support colleagues and clients in delivering exceptional recruitment.
Anyone who knows me that outside of work my life revolves around football! I’m a big Aberdeen FC supporter and season ticket holder and weekends are based around going to Pittodrie. I should say spending time with my girlfriend Laura ranks highly, but my love of ‘The Dons’ has rubbed off on her and she is now a regular at games!
