At Primat we take our Corporate Social Responsibility very seriously, within the heart of our own local communities and nationally. Our dedicated staff regularly help to raise and contribute funds to various national and local charities by participating in world-class marathons, quiz nights and various other unique and demanding challenges.

Recent Events

Race for Life for Cancer Research UK on 5th June
Our Darlington Resourcer, Karren Mounsey, took part in this year’s Race for Life along with all the women in her family, in aid of Cancer Research UK.  For more information and to contribute, please visit Karren’s Just Giving page.

Caledonian Challenge for Scottish Community Foundation on 11th & 12th June
Head of Primat, Graham Robson, participated in this year’s Caledonian Challenge, in which he and his team were set the epic challenge of walking 54 miles in 24 hours, across Scotland’s most famous, remote and  rugged landscapes. All funds went towards the Scottish Community Foundation, which helps enhance the lives of thousands of people, by supporting much-needed community services in some of the UK's most isolated communities. 

It's a Knockout Challene
for St.Teresa's Hospice on 31st July
This July, two Primat teams battled it out in the It's a Knockout Challenge in Darlington, to raise vital funds for St.Teresa's Hospice. The Primat members undertook a series of challenges facing foam pits, pools of muddy water and giant inflatables - making it a fun day for all. Crucially, all profits from the event went towards the daily running costs of St.Teresa's, which offers a number of vital services to the Darlington & District community including, home respite service, palliative care beds, day care, carers support and counselling and bereavement support.
 
AMEC Charity Quiz Night for INSPIRE on 27th October
Primat staff in Aberdeen took part in AMEC's annual charity quiz night, in aid of INSPIRE, an Aberdeen-based charity focused on empowering children, young people and adults with learning disabilities.
