Primat Recruitment, an expanding resourcing company within the AMEC Group, is seeking a Senior Process Engineer Purpose/Role To act at all times in accordance with the Policy on Health, Safety and the Environment. Supervise Discipline and Graduate Engineers. Shall ensure that all allocated responsibilities are dealt with properly. Ensure that the client business drivers and company performance incentives are fully understood by all discipline personnel being supervised. Maintain technical integrity within discipline Assist in developing the knowledge and skills of the discipline assigned staff, including assisting in the training and technical development of engineers. Prepare estimates and assist in the review of proposed schedules. Ensure that results of any development work are fully utilised throughout discipline activities. Providing documentation and drawing deliverables for inclusion in workpacks and, or design books on time to meet offshore deadlines. Taking part and contributing to construction risk assessments and construction method statements. Responsible as a key member of any project team for achieving the project target and completion of the project within the budget and schedule. Preparation of engineering and construction scope for both man-hours and equipment estimates where necessary. Producing cost effective designs that are fit for purpose and safe. Producing work packs and / or design books on time to meet offshore deadlines. Taking part and contributing to construction risk assessments and construction method statements. Shall take into account all aspects of the Health and Safety at Work etc Act (1974), but particularly Section 7.0 relating to general duties of employees i.e. 'Employees must take reasonable care of their own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by their acts of omissions. They must also co-operate with their employer so far as is necessary to enable to comply with his duties under the Act. Shall ensure all personnel working under their direction are aware of the above requirement. Under the above Act shall implement those aspects of Section 2.0 by providing the necessary information, instruction, training and assistance to carry out their work safely. Attend relevant Safety, Health and Environmental awareness training provided by the company which will help meet the above requirements Allied occasional duties Provide technical assistance to discipline staff as required. Review work / work output of discipline assigned staff as required. Provide technical assistance to other disciplines as required. Participate as necessary in discussions with Clients and visit job sites as required. Assist Lead Discipline Engineer when requested in execution of their responsibilities and duties.
