Primat Recruitment Limited a part of the AMEC group is recruiting for a Senior Design Engineer – Piping Stress on either a staff or contract basis for Kuwait. You will have a BSc in Engineering and considerable experience within the refinery & petrochemical industry. Kuwait Engineering Services (KES) business group has three significant, long-term engineering services contracts. KES has won a new GES contract for Joint Operations (JO) and will now locally provide engineering services on JO projects for the next five years. KES also support the oil field developments under existing long-term project management and engineering services contract with KOC. The KNPC contract includes the provision of services in all three of KNPC’s refineries; Mina Al Ahmadi, Shuaiba and Mina Abdullah as well as in their non-refining assets. Benefits for the role will include: Unaccompanied status, working hour regime – 48 hours per week over 5 days – Sunday to Thursday, living allowance & mobilisation allowance, holiday entitlement + 10 days local statutory holiday, mobilisation / demobilisation and Medical Cover. The vast majority of personnel working on the contract live in rented apartment blocks on the coast (many with sea views) between Mahboula and Fahaheel some 20 km south of Kuwait City.
