Description:
Primat Recruitment, an expanding resourcing company within the AMEC Group, is seeking a Safety Advisor(LM 6097) Purpose of role: To provide occupational health, safety support and expertise to Project and modifications, its client and contractors. Function objectives: • Support operating locations with regard to best practice, auditing and improvement campaigns. • Implement H&S improvement initiatives across projects. • Take a leading role in auditing. • Provide guidance and support with regard to corporate standards. • Take a leading role to identify best practice, including industry liaison and customer interaction. • Ensure compliance with legislation, policies, guidance and best practice. • Support and undertake improvement to the health and safety management systems. • Interface with subcontractors to ensure that H&S performance, procedures and controls. • Identify, support and communicate relevant policies, practices and information. • Active involvement in onshore risk assessments (PSRA, HAZIDs, etc) plus review of onshore workpacks. • Undertake offshore visits as required. Specific experience required: • Work experience as a SHE Advisor. • Nationally recognised SHE qualification e.g. NEBOSH AMEC is committed to the principle of equal opportunity in employment.
