Purpose/Role To liaise with client’s customers, providing them with a quality service with the provision of profitability to the business. Prime responsibilities and duties Ensure the effective management and execution of Company policies and procedures, which include Health and Safety and Quality Assurance in the delivery of service contracts. Liaison and control of project management/supervision, to confirm that they are complying with the company’s policies and procedures, which include but are not limited to Health & Safety/Quality Assurance/British Standards and UK codes of practice. The provision of technical support to the contract whether it be core business or extra project works. Seek continuous improvement on the delivery of the service to the customer, which includes: Continuous achievement of contract and business objectives and targets Man management and motivation Health, Safety and security Financial performance of contract Client liaison and satisfaction Evaluation of workloads against manpower requirements Training needs of the Contract personnel Establish contract specific local procedures which will include emergency and escalation processes, as necessary in the deliver of the service. Manage and set firm financial targets to meet established objectives, which will include the reporting of the financial status to the General and Commercial Managers. To bring added value to the service delivery be it contract support or industry innovation. Gain new business through the existing Client base, e.g. additional core business contracts; extra project works, total facilities opportunities. Provide tendering facilities for extra Project works to suit client requirements, liaising with the General and Commercial Managers and the appropriate internal departments and other service providers. This will include the following: Contract Terms and Conditions Design responsibility C.D.M. (when applicable) Financial Control including the provision of bills Project management Delivery of the Project to established parameters, programme/quality/profit Other duties as directed by the General or Commercial Managers. Personal qualities, aptitudes and skills: Ability to provide highly effective supervisory skills to the Facilities team Confidence and commitment to providing a high quality, professional service Ability to develop a good understanding of the customer’s business requirements Excellent customer service skills – ability to build and maintain rapport Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to prioritise work tasks Adaptable and flexible in approach to work required Effective problem solving skills Ability to remain calm under pressure Reliable Detail conscious Results/tasks oriented Compliance with a non smoking, alcohol and drug free company policy Compliance with company administrative procedures Qualifications: Essential: Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering Relevant Business/Management Training Desirable: Membership to the Institute of Safety and Health (IOSH) or equivalent Chartered engineer
