Primat Recruitment, on behalf of AMEC seeks a Senior Maintenance Engineer for on an ongoing contract role to be based in London. The role will commence in the New Year. You will provide maintenance advice during FEED stage to ensure the design meets targets for safety, reliability and maintainability as well as addressing technical queries relating to maintenance across mechanical, instrument and electrical disciplines for the hull and topside systems. The role works across systems and across EPC interfaces addressing subsea, topsides and hull work scopes. This includes introducing best practices into the design to ensure reliability and maintainability and act as O&M focal point for client development of CMMS. In order to apply, you must have the following: Engineering degree in a relevant discipline plus proven track record of maintenance experience in the oil and gas industry OR HNC or equivalent in an engineering discipline plus a substantial proven track record of maintenance experience with oil and gas industry. Adequate experience in a senior maintenance engineer role. The right candidate will also have the following: Specialist knowledge of the following Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) Reliability, Availability & Maintainability (RAM) modelling Criticality Analysis Opex budgeting Substantial experience of maintenance aspects of offshore equipment. Practical experience of maintenance strategy development, tools and techniques Working knowledge of industry best practice. Experience of gas compressor and turbine maintenance Good knowledge of CMMS structures, functionality and processes.
