Description:
As Electrical Technician you will complete electrical, mechanical and reactive tasks as directed by the client and help desk in accordance with the contract requirements. You will also supervise the subcontractor staff. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: • To ensure that onsite Quality Assurance procedures are adhered to in all respects and to maintain accurate records/documentation associated with the electrical aspects of the PPM and plant. • To respond to call outs and cover breakdowns and emergencies associated with the services aspects of the contract as required. • To Co-ordinate visiting specialist sub contractors associated with all aspects of the PPM schedules. • Repair of Electrical systems and controls associated with Heating and Ventilating Building Services. • Repair and maintenance of lighting and distribution systems. • Electrical fault diagnosis associated with the reactive maintenance of the site. Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills: - C&G part 1 & 2 (Electrical Installation 2360) or recognised equivalent - GCSE (or ‘O’ Level equivalent) passes in Maths and English or recognised equivalent - Experience with similar maintenance duties including fault diagnosis, rectification - Experience in the electrical aspects of general building PPM schedules - Experienced in electrical installation work, plus electrical testing and inspection If you are interested in this role please forward an up to date CV to roger.james@amec.com
